2 Digital Occupational Pathways

Our 2 Digital T-Level Pathways will launch in 2022. We will be delivering these in specialist facilities set to be built and open in Autumn 2022.

Developed with the national and local digital sector

We have worked with local and national partners in developing our T Level courses to ensure students gain skills that in demand in the local digital sector.

Become a professional

3 months work experience

Every aspect of the T Level is built to prepare young people for their new professions. Extensive workplace skills development and applications to businesses are part of the curriculum.

10-12 weeks in a local digital work placement

All students will gain 10-12 weeks work experience in digital sector businesses, developing workplace specific skills needed for their future careers.

Our Girl's Robotics club takes part in the annual FIRST TECH Challenge Competition. We are currently regional champions and enter four teams annually. Girls learn how to engineer robots and code in a competitive yet collaborative environment.

Building Robot

Our boys enter the international FIRST Lego League (FLL) competition. Working on coding, problem solving and teamwork skills to solve a range of challenges. We are in our maiden year and aim to help link up with more local schools to increase participation.

fernDOWNLOAD seek to inspire the next generation of coders and engineers. Part of this is our student-led outreach programme for Years 4 and upwards. Practical workshops and talks help engage younger people in the amazing world of STEM careers.

Preparing for 21st Century Careers

Over the past four years we have heavily invested in our digital technology facilities. By September 2022 we will have 7 specialist digital learning spaces, in which we deliver all our computing courses. This includes a new £1.2 million digital education building.

We host a CAS Community for East Dorset and BPD, to support computing teaching in schools in our region.
